This piece of jewelry was made to the Jarlabanse Runesteen from Valtuna in Sweden. A snake is depicted on the stone that is characteristic of the urn style. A Viking art style that was used around the 11th century. It is written in Runen: Jarlabanki has these stones built for himself during his life and built this bridge for his salvation, and he had very tábýr in his possession.

Runen were letters and each also had their own magical power. Runen gave the wearer strength and protection and were therefore engraved on objects. Runen could also be used to make predictions by Volvas
