The pleats on the hip are distributed over the waist so that they may be tied extra tightly. These trousers are constructed according to the historical predecessor of the Rus Vikings trousers. An early Viking pattern that permits enormous freedom of movement. The trousers are laced at the waist and below the knees. The calf is tight, so they may also be combined with leg wraps or boots.
