The shirt is crafted in the style worn by the German Landsknechten. They were mercenaries who had a formidable reputation, consisting mostly of pikemen and foot soldiers, whose mercenary activities grew to become one of the most essential military powers in 15th–16th century Europe.
The Landsknechten wore colourful garments. The sleeves of this shirt have been designed in that style. They feature contrasting inserts and may be closed with three buttons at the cuffs. The shirt has a V-neck and lacing at the front.
