The boots are inspired by late medieval models and crafted from light brown cowhide. Similar examples have been uncovered during archaeological excavations, including in Constance. The shaft above the buckles may be worn either upright or folded down, depending on your preferred style. The middle strap, like the others, is fitted with a historically inspired buckle and wraps around the ankle for a secure fit. The sole and flat heel are attached with nails, providing excellent stability and durability. With proper care, these boots will last a long time, even with frequent use. Please note: modern surfaces such as asphalt and gravel are not well-suited to historical leather soles, as they wear down quickly with prolonged use.
