This one belt is inspired by a late Roman buckle clasp from the 4th century, executed in Roman-Germanic style in bronze. One belt of this type was a recognizable part of both military and civilian clothing within the Roman Empire at that time.
The belt is made of sturdy cowhide leather colour brown, wax-matt finished and 2.8 to 3.2 mm thick, making it leather develops a natural patina over time. Two pressed lines along the edges provide a neat, sleek look, and thanks to the generous length can you get the belt wear it knotted if desired.
A sturdy one belt for re-enactment from the late Roman period, with a size that you can easily adjust yourself with a hole punch. The parts are nailed instead of sewn, which contributes to durability.
