Product description
The mace head is based on a 13th–14th century original, found in south-eastern Europe. Brass maces such as these were commonly employed by soldiers, being cheap and straightforward to produce. With their top-heavy construction, they were capable of bludgeoning an opponent through gambesons, chainmail, and even plate armour.
