Product description
The mandilion was a type of cloak or loose upper garment worn from the late 16th century onwards, including by soldiers. Mandilions came in various designs: some were sleeveless, while others featured loose or hanging sleeves. Characteristic was the possibility of wearing the garment over one shoulder, which kept the sword arm free. This way of wearing it even became a fashion trend at the end of the 16th century.
Made in sturdy cotton with a length of maximum 76 cm and a neck circumference of 48 cm.
Wear this garment over one shoulder for a Renaissance outfit, or use it as an atmospheric accessory with a fantasy or role-playing costume.
