Medieval belt 'Erik of Pomerania', brown leather, brass

This one belt is based on a historical example that once belonged to the Danish King Erik of Pomerania and dates from around 1450. The original buckle was made of gold-plated silver and wore the crown coat of arms of King Erik with the inscription 'Help ghot un maria nu altit'.

The belt in brown leather with buckle brass is made of sturdy cowhide leather of 3 to 3.5 mm thick and has narrow pressed decorative lines on both sides, which gives the whole an elegant look. Thanks to the length can you get the belt wear knotted.
