Medieval belt 'Erik van Pommeren' with strap tongue and fittings, black leather, silver plated brass

This one belt is based on a historical example that once belonged to the Danish King Erik of Pomerania and dates from circa 1450, complete with buckle, belt tongue and three fittings. The original parts were gold plated silver; the buckle bore the crown crest of King Erik with the inscription 'Help ghot un maria nu altit'.

The belt in black leather with buckle, belt tongue and silver-plated fittings brass is made of sturdy cowhide leather of 3 to 3.5 mm thick and has narrow pressed decorative lines on both sides. Thanks to the length can you get the belt wear knotted.
