The Bund or maid's hood was a common headdress for women across large parts of Europe and America until modern times. Many different shapes, colours and sizes were produced. The hood of the "Anna" series has been generously cut, so pinned-up hairstyles or braids may be worn beneath it. The wide brim protects against the sun, whilst the wide hood remains pleasantly cool and airy. For summer live-action role play or a visit to the market, it is particularly well-suited to completing a medieval costume.
