Product description
A fine medieval dagger with scabbard by Windlass Steelcrafts, based on historical medieval daggers. Daggers of this type were employed by knights and soldiers alike. In the army camp, the dagger was utilised for practical purposes such as cutting ropes and other chores. On the battlefield, it was employed in close combat. This classic model medieval dagger features a round pommel and a curved cross-guard. The grip and scabbard are crafted from wood covered with black leather. The blade is constructed from tempered 1055 carbon steel with a hardness of 48–52 HRC. Particularly well-suited to a medieval costume and medieval reenactment. Whilst blunted, the dagger is suitable for Historical European Martial Arts.
