Product description
A robust reconstruction of late medieval shoes, based on findings from London dating back to around 1380 AD. Each shoe is equipped with three laces for fastening at the instep. The upper leather, measuring 2 mm in thickness, is sewn employing a technique known as a turnshoe-style edge/flesh butt seam. The sole is constructed from multiple layers of cowhide leather. This modern construction delivers an authentic turnshoe appearance, whilst simultaneously providing increased stability and durability. The shoes are available in a range of sizes, which are standard European measurements. However, the shoe's shape is relatively narrow, particularly around the toes. Should you have wider feet or simply prefer a slightly roomier fit, opting for a size up is recommended. With this product, emphasis is placed on both comfort and an authentic aesthetic, permitting you to navigate your upcoming LARP event, reenactment, cosplay, or medieval and Viking festival with confidence and style.
