Product description
The Armin is a medieval headwear for men, available in three sizes to accommodate almost any head size. It is recommended that the "Armin" hat be embellished individually — for example with a braid, feather, or brooch. Regarding the history of this headgear, it represents a further development of the so-called "Pillbox" and is referred to as the Italian Barrett. It was worn principally in southern Europe by townspeople & wealthy citizens from the late Middle Ages to the Renaissance. Whilst the youth tended to wear the cap to the side, cardinals and higher-ranking personalities, for example, wore it upwards (see the Doge of Venice).
