Product description
Hoods such as these were worn from the early Middle Ages to the beginning of the sixteenth century and covered the head, the neck and the entire shoulders and a part of the back. Farmers, artisans and other common people in particular wore this type of hood. This hood is well-suited to keeping out bad weather, and the fabric retains your body heat.
The hood is crafted from cotton. At the front it may be fastened with a cotton lace. The cape section can be worn over the shoulders or solely over the back.
