Product description
The loom is crafted after 11th–14th century originals. Similar looms were already employed by the Romans and Germanic peoples. It has 12 drawers and 13 holes for weaving. Much like weaving with a loom, this fixed shaft drawer loom permits you to create beautiful fabric belts or edges for the hem of your medieval clothing, depending on the thickness of the thread. The width of the loom determines the width of the woven ribbon. A fixed shaft drawer loom is well-suited to mastering the technique of belt weaving, as it is inexpensive, readily available and considerably easier to utilise than weaving with loom planks. However, unlike plank weaving, a loom can only be used to weave longitudinal striped edges and not complex patterns.
