Product description

A beautiful replica sword by Windlass Steelcrafts, based on historical swords that were used during the Middle Ages. This is a two-handed sword, but it is also suitable for one-handed use. A sword like this was used all over Europe. It has a hardwood grip decorated with steel wire and faux ivory. The pommel (wheel pommel) and cross-guard have a patina finish so that they look like an old sword, this is a nice contrast with the light steel of the blade. It is delivered including a black leather scabbard with patina fittings. The semi-sharp blade is forged from tempered 1085 carbon steel with a hardness of 48-52 HRC. A great ornamental sword for the wall, also beautiful for a medieval reenactment costume or for Cosplay. When you blunten the blade, it is a great battle ready sword for sword fighting and for Historical European Martial Arts.
