The women's shoes are based on medieval models from the 14th century found in London. The shoes may be fastened with leather laces and are well-suited to medieval reenactment and historical costumes. Crafted from high-quality, naturally tanned leather, the soles are constructed from rubber. This makes them particularly well-suited to walking on modern surfaces and running, as replica shoes with a leather sole are less suitable for this. The rubber permits a good grip on the surface, and the sole wears out less quickly.
