This 3 cm wide belt is inspired by early medieval belt fittings from the Merovingian period, around the 5th-6th century. Buckle and fittings follow historical examples from the time, although this one is belt equipped with a clasp with a normal pin instead of the pin plate that is common in the find material from that period.

The belt in black leather with buckle and fittings in silver plated brass is long enough to wear tied, as was customary in Merovingian times. You can easily adjust the size yourself with a hole punch.
