Recommended combination
Product description
This combination of gorget and pauldrons is a hinged reconstruction of late medieval neck and shoulder protection and is hand-forged from 1.6 mm steel. The pauldrons are equipped with steel roundels (besagues) that protect the armpits and are attached to each pauldron with leather and rivets.
For sufficient freedom of movement, the hinged plates of the pauldrons are interconnected with sturdy, riveted leather belts. The pauldrons are removable and fasten at upper arm height with an adjustable leather belt and brass buckle for a comfortable fit.
This neck and shoulder protection is suitable for re-enactment, living history, and costume. Always measure over your gambeson or clothing that you wear underneath to determine the correct size.
