The mace head is based on 11th–14th century originals. These were frequently depicted in Norman manuscripts and in Spanish manuscripts, such as the Silos Beatus (Commentary of Beatus of Liébana). The mace head is a replica of an original held at the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology in Cambridge (England).
Constructed from steel, the mace head measures 7,8 cm in length, with an inner ring of 23 mm diameter. It weighs 450 grams.
Owing to the Belgian arms act, we are unable to dispatch this weapon to Belgium.
