Product description
Spoons of this type were used from the Late Roman period until the eighteenth century. The spoon is crafted from high-quality olive wood. Olive wood possesses several distinctive properties: it has a beautiful grain pattern, is very hard and therefore not easily damaged, and does not absorb odours quickly, preventing the wood from developing a smell. Spoons of this type were used mainly in the Mediterranean region. It is well-suited to use as a cooking spoon and spatula for historical cooking.
