Recommended combination
Product description
These spaulders are based on originals that were in use from the 14th century onwards. They can be easily combined with armour pieces from the Churburg or Avant styles, but spaulders such as these were also commonly employed in late-Gothic armour. Spaulders are narrow shoulder pieces that attach to a gambeson, chainmail hauberk, or gorget. These armour components differ from pauldrons, as pauldrons are wider and also provide protection for parts of the armpit.Product details
