Product description

This beautiful pendant, made of bronze, represents Cernunnos, the Celtic god of nature, fertility, and wild animals.

Cernunnos, often referred to as the “Horned God,” is depicted in ancient Celtic art as a male figure with stag antlers, sometimes seated in a meditative posture. He is associated with abundance, fertility, and the cycles of life and death. One of the most famous depictions of Cernunnos can be found on the Gundestrup Cauldron, a silver vessel from the Iron Age that offers a wealth of information about Celtic religion. Although few written sources about him exist, archaeological findings suggest that Cernunnos played a central role in the spiritual practices of the ancient Celts. This pendant features a modern interpretation of Cernunnos, blended with the iconography of the Green Man.
