Product description
To ensure the longevity of your latex equipment, always apply a thin layer of silicone. This not only prevents the latex from drying out but also reduces friction, preserving the colour and shape of blade edges. Regularly inspect your latex gear before and after use. Apply the Protection Gel directly onto the latex or a cloth, then spread it evenly across the surface, avoiding leather handles. Should any excess remain, wipe it off with a dry cotton cloth. Store your latex items in a dry place, away from direct sunlight.
The Protection Gel is available in a 100 ml tube and has a high viscosity (MPH 350), meaning it is thicker than liquid solutions. This makes it particularly well-suited to coating strike surfaces such as axe and sword blades or shields, and is well-suited to Live Action Roleplaying weapons. A layer of this gel protects against heat and sunlight, prevents latex from drying out, reduces friction, and maintains the form and paint details.
