The shirt is based on originals from the 15th–16th centuries and is well-suited to late medieval and Renaissance re-enactment, as well as various LARP characters. The several laces permit the shirt to fall beautifully in folds. The sleeves may be tied up completely around the wrists, which makes the sleeve puff even more prominent. The shirt can also be fastened tightly around the neck, giving it a layered and voluminous appearance.
