Trousers of this style were worn predominantly during the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. The design is inspired by the historical Pluderhose, as well as the sixteenth-century trunk hoses that were worn throughout northern Europe, and is further based upon the Landsknecht trousers. As such, these trousers are well-suited to Renaissance, sixteenth-century, and Landsknecht re-enactment. Constructed in two colours — as with the historical designs — the trousers are cut extra wide above the knee, whilst below the knee the fit falls closer to emphasise the puff. The trousers are delivered with a set of black leg wrappings, which may be worn separately or bound around the lower legs. They are equipped with two small pockets at the front and several deep pockets, alongside six belt loops to permit comfortable wear of a belt. The waistband is slightly elastic for a comfortable fit. These trousers are available in a children's size (6–10 years) and in adult sizes (S to XXXL).
