The leather Viking armour consists of a chest part and a back part. The structure is constructed from square pieces of leather that are interwoven. At the back, the armour has leather straps that permit adjustment of the size. The side is open, so there is no danger of it failing to fit at the waist. Leather flaps are featured between the breastplate and backplate, ensuring that the sides are also protected whilst the armour is fastened with the straps.
This armour is well-suited to LARP and re-enactment of Vikings, Saxons, Celts and similar historical groups, as well as Cosplay of series such as Last Kingdom, Game of Thrones and Vikings. Historically, leather was very expensive and was not affordable for the ordinary Viking, making it well-suited to elite Viking characters for reenactment. The buckles are not historical, but they can of course be replaced with buckles that are historically correct.
