Using a belt, ladies and men could emphasise their shapes and create a tighter fit. Bags, knives and other utensils were also fastened to the belt so that everything was quickly at hand. The closure of the belt consists of a metal ring that is fixed in the leather with a brass pin. The belt may be closed by passing the end through the ring and tying it. Easy and efficient!
