Product description
This woven herringbone belt is based on the simple cloth belt worn in Roman times by civilians, craftsmen and auxiliaries to protect the tunic to keep in shape. A belt was more than practical at the time: the way it was worn also said something about the wearer's place in society.
The strap is over 1.5 to 2 meters long and can therefore be tied or wrapped in several ways, and in addition to a belt it can also be used as a carrying strap for a cloak or bag. Suitable for re-enactment, living history and museum presentations.
