Description
The cingulum is a Roman belt that was worn by legionaries in the Roman army. The belt kept the trousers up, but with its fine decorations it also served as a sign of military performance and high rank. The apron, consisting of four leather strips, features copper pteruges and ends in a pilia. The cingulum batter, buckle, pugio holder, pteruges and pilia are exact replicas of Roman finds of cingulum parts from the first century in Mainz. The belt is constructed from sturdy leather of 2 mm thickness and has a suede lining to protect your tunic. A particularly well-suited accessory for Roman re-enactment, living history, LARP and Cosplay.

Maintenance and care
Just as with weapons, you can care for your shoes and leather goods by applying a little ballistol after cleaning. This prevents the leather from drying out.
