Product description
The frixorium is a splendid replica of a late Roman pan or patera, which was utilised for all kinds of purposes. The original was found near the fort Gelduba (Krefeld-Gellep, Germany) and originates from the 3rd century AD.
The grip can be folded in and is attached to the pan with two screws. A spout is featured on the side to drain off fat, just as on the original. The pan is constructed from 16 mm thick steel and the grip is crafted from iron.
Its length is 57 cm and it has a diameter of 27 cm. The height of the edge is 48 mm and the pan weighs 1.25 kg.
