This swastika-shaped belt fitting with four horse heads is modeled on Roman harness fittings from ancient Dacia, present-day Romania, including finds from the Băiceni treasure. Shoes and fibulae with this horse head motif were spread throughout the Roman Empire between the 3rd and 6th centuries, especially among the auxiliaries of the Roman cavalry in the Balkans, where it may have had a religious significance within a horse cult.

The fitting was carried out in bronze and has four pins on the back with which it can be connected leather can be attached: the pins go through holes in the leather and are then crushed.

A small-scale but strong visual accessory for belts or harness within Roman reenactment, with a clear link to the military culture of the later Roman Empire.
