This one belt, Called a 'cingulum' in Roman antiquity, it is inspired by examples from around the turn of the year and all around fittings with nine rectangular plates and a triquetra fitting opposite the buckle. Roman legionnaires were already upon them belt recognizable: in contrast to civilian clothing, where studded belts hardly appear in the find material, the Roman army often wore richly decorated belt trimmings as a status symbol.

The 5 cm wide belt in brown leather with buckle and fittings brass is made of sturdy cowhide leather of 3 to 3.5 mm thick, with pressed decorative lines along the edges for a sleek appearance.
