Product description
This gliederkette (link chain) is based on an archaeological find from southern Russia, dated 1st-2nd century AD; the original is in the Staatliche Museen in Berlin. These types of necklaces were worn by women in the northern borderlands of the Roman Empire.
The 44 cm long necklace consists of oval, clear (wax) pearls of 7 mm on links of silver-colored metal wire, and closes with a hook clasp.
A fine, light piece of jewelry for a Roman costume, and because of the neutral colour easy to combine with other parts of the outfit.
