A sturdy wooden shield by Windlass Steelcrafts, based on Roman shields from Antiquity. The shield is covered with leather on both the front and back, and features a black shield boss with gold-coloured decorations of wings and lightning bolts on the front. The back is fitted with arm straps so that the shield may be worn comfortably for extended periods. Well-suited to Roman reenactment or as part of a Roman costume.
