Product description
This brooch is an exact replica of a Roman fibula in the shape of a rooster, decorated with bright enamel. Such a pin was used to fasten a cloak or wrap.
The brooch is made of metal and inlaid with blue, white and red enamel. On the back is a brooch pin with which you can attach it to your clothing. The design harks back to older Celtic animal motifs; this type of brooch was especially made in Britain and Gaul.
Supplied in a gift box with information card — ideal for re-enactment or as a special gift.
