Product description
The helmet is crafted after a 13th-century original. Helmets of this type were worn in large numbers throughout Europe between the 13th and 16th centuries. The secret was most commonly worn beneath the great helm, which was removed during duels. In this way the head remained protected, the wearer retained a full field of view, and his breathing was not hampered.
The secret is constructed from 2 mm thick steel. The three parts are screwed together. Holes have been applied to the side and the back, permitting the attachment of an aventail. The interior features a leather inlay, and the helmet may be fastened with a chin strap.
The secret is available in several sizes.
Size S is well-suited to a head circumference of up to 59 cm and weighs 1.6 kg.
Size M is well-suited to a head circumference of up to 61 cm and weighs 1.6 kg.
Size L is well-suited to a head circumference of up to 62 cm and weighs 1.7 kg.
