Product description
The Sinclair sabre — also known as the dusack or Dusägge — is a short, powerful naval sabre from the early 17th century. The weapon is named after the Scottish mercenary captain George Sinclair, whose men frequently carried this type of blade.
The blade is forged from EN45 carbon steel. The steel basket hilt and pommel have been blued and form a handsome contrast with the sea-green, leather-wrapped grip, which is cleverly braided in the shape of a Saint Andrew's cross. The matching wooden scabbard is covered in sea-green leather and fitted with blued steel fittings.
