Product description
The design of this cape is inspired by the discovery of a bog body that was still clothed and wrapped in a woollen blanket at the Skjoldehamn farm in Andøya, Norway. Although the exact age remains uncertain, recent studies suggest the 11th century. The sex of the bog body wearing the Viking Gugel has not been definitively established, though it is currently assumed to be a woman. The Viking cape was an essential garment worn by the Vikings during their expeditions and explorations. Constructed from durable materials such as wool, the cape offered protection against the harsh elements of the Nordic countries. This cape is well-suited to festivals, LARP, reenactment, and is particularly useful on cold and wet days, keeping you warm.
