This sheet of foam is well-suited to crafting your own LARP weapon. With this foam, the safety and quality of Epic Armory LARP weapons can be experienced firsthand. The foam is soft and easy to work with — blades and grips alike can be fashioned from it with ease. It is light and durable.
How does one create a LARP weapon? Cut the foam into the shape of your desired design and glue it around a sanded fibreglass core (the sanding ensures the surface grips the glue more effectively). Leave sufficient foam around the core for safety and sturdiness. Once the desired shape has been achieved, dip the weapon in latex and allow it to dry between each new coat for a smooth and protective surface.
Maintain your weapon regularly with silicone spray to prevent it from drying out.
