Product description
The sporran is a bag traditionally worn on the Scottish kilt. For kilts without pockets, it serves as a place where personal items may be stored. The sporran hangs in front of the loins, though it can also be worn on the side should that prove more practical.
The sporran is technically derived from the European medieval belt bag, and remains one of the few forms of this bag still in use today.
This sporran has been decorated with a Celtic knot motif and features three leather tassels. It is fastened by means of a supplied pin. The bag is provided with a chain, permitting the sporran to be hung around the kilt.
