Product description
This type of Roman pilum was employed between the 1st century BC and the 1st century AD, i.a. during the Gallic Wars. Once the pilum had struck a target, the spearhead bent, so that the spear could not be thrown back.
The pilum is constructed from wood and 9260 carbon steel, and features a heavier shaft than its predecessors. The spearhead can easily be dismantled and replaced. The length of this throwing spear is 224 cm and it weighs approximately 1.9 kg.
This item cannot be dispatched to countries outside the EU due to its length.
