Product description
In Roman belief, the Lares watched over home and family. This statue is a Gallo-Roman variant, based on a bronze discovery from Lyon (1st century AD), and shows the household god with a patera (offering bowl) and cornucopia (horn of plenty) instead of the usual drinking horn.
The bronze-colored patina rests on a black marble base. The silver inlay sandal straps of the original bronze statue are not implemented in this plaster replica.
