Product description
The bronze buckle is crafted after the 6th–7th century Anglo-Saxon buckle excavated at Sutton Hoo. The original is part of the collection of the British Museum. Buckles of this type were worn by the Germanic and Frankish tribes between the 6th and 8th century.
The buckle is entirely handmade and has a dark bronze finish. It measures 13 x 6 cm. Just as with the original, it can be attached to the belt by means of three round decorations.
It is well-suited to a belt width of 5–6 cm, and the opening measures 3 cm.
