Product description
The buckle is crafted after the 6th–7th century Anglo-Saxon buckle excavated at Sutton Hoo. The original is part of the collection of the British Museum. Buckles of this type were worn by the Germanic and Frankish tribes between the 6th and 8th centuries. The buckle is entirely handmade, measuring 13 x 6 cm. Just as with the original, it may be attached to the belt by means of three round decorations.
