The luxury bastard sword has been designed by Hanwei, based on the 16th-century one-and-a-half-hand sword used throughout Central Europe. Swords such as these were employed by Swiss mercenary soldiers who were renowned across Europe for their excellent service.
The sword is sharp and has been finished with a patina layer that lends it an antique appearance.
The sword is 127.3 cm in length, has a blade of 98.4 cm and weighs 1,162 grams. The balance point is situated 14 cm below the guard. The sword is supplied with a scabbard.

Tip: how to adjust the owner's finish on arms and weapons
Luxury (polished) – Polish the steel with a metal polishing agent or toothpaste. This permits you to polish an article to a high shine. First test on a small surface!
Handmade (matt) – Place the steel in cola for between 40 minutes and 20 hours. Check the matt finish regularly. Even out the finish with black sandpaper.
Antique (patinated) – Place the steel for a while in a damp environment (preferably outside) and allow it to rust. Brush away the red rust layer; the corroded top layer remains.

2. Plastic cushions, clothing bags and plastic tape: separate or reuse plastic. You may pierce the cushions with a needle for volume reduction.
3. Paper packaging for jewellery and small items: these have a plastic inner layer. Remove this, then separate paper and plastic.
