The beautiful and elegant Renaissance belt fitting is based on 15th–16th century originals excavated in England and Wales. The rose was the emblem of the Welsh Tudor family. Its well-known descendants include King Henry VII, Henry VIII, Edward VI, Queen Mary I (Bloody Mary), and Elizabeth I.
Belt fittings of this kind were worn throughout Tudor England. Originals have been excavated at sites including the Mary Rose. Crafted from silvered bronze, this belt fitting has a diameter of 2.5 cm and is sold per set of 5 pieces.
