The tunic is inspired by medieval clothing fragments, including fragments found in a marsh near the Danish Kragelund.
The beautiful hand-stitched hems are clearly visible, as the colour of the thread contrasts with the colour of the tunic itself. The tunic is therefore particularly well-suited to re-enacting and LARPing of the Middle Ages and early Middle Ages.
Crafted from sturdy cotton, the tunic is well-suited to all seasons. It reaches to the knee. The extra strips of fabric — also known as gores — arranged at the centre ensure that the tunic falls elegantly and remains comfortable to wear. The sleeves have also been specially tailored: the fabric at the upper arms is wider than at the forearms.
