Product description

Shin guards of this type were worn by Germanic warriors from the Migration Period and continued in use through to the Viking Age. An original example was found in a ship's grave of a Germanic king near the holy city of Uppsala. This replica is based upon Valsgärde Scheepsgraf 8. These shin guards are well-suited to early medieval reenactment.
