Product description
This fire chain is modeled after a grave find from Bengtsarvet in the municipality of Sollerön, in Dalarna, Sweden, from the Viking Age. Similar fire chains have been found in several places, indicating that they were a common household item in the Viking Age.
On one side is a ring for hanging the chain on a hook or tripod, and on the other side is a forged double hook in which the cooking pot is hung. By hanging the hook in another chain link, you can easily adjust the height above the fire, between 15 and 49 cm.
A practical and authentic piece of encampment equipment for Viking Age reenactment or LARP.
